NiuMA, your space, your team, your support

NiuMA is born to offer better care to women in the world of motherhood, even when it’s just a dream that may seem distant. My name is Vicky González, and I am a perinatal psychologist (license number 28904), an active doula since 2010, and a breastfeeding consultant.

NiuMA is the result of the importance of WORKING TOGETHER.

As a perinatal psychologist, in addition to my own practice (including online consultations), I collaborate with the team of Elisabet Solsona, a General Health Psychologist also specialized in perinatal psychology.

As a doula, during the pandemic, I understood that to offer greater tranquility and security to all women and their partners, we should work as a doula binomial. Thus, we cover any possible unforeseen events. To be able to assist all women who need breastfeeding support, sometimes, I have the support of fellow breastfeeding consultants who provide the quality that NiuMA represents.

Gemma is our pelvic floor physiotherapist and Juliette provides massages. Both might attend you as well during pregnancy as after birth. Cerrada with rebozo is also used to enclosure any vital process.

All the professionals who are part of the NiuMa team share the same passion, vision, and attention necessary for motherhood.

I want to tell you who I am and what I do, because I would love to be by your side.

I’m Vicky, a mother of three children born in 2005, 2007, and 2011 in three very different ways, a first breech cesarean, a highly medicalized vaginal birth, and a completely natural birth.

Although my professional career began as a graduate and MBA in Business Administration and Management at ESADE, and I worked for over 10 years in the marketing sector, in 2009 I trained as a doula at Mares Doules, and shortly after, I made a radical professional change. Since 2011, I have been accompanying women and their partners at any moment of motherhood, even before achieving that much-desired pregnancy. I graduated in psychology from UDIMA (Distance University of Madrid), my license number is 28904, and I have a postgraduate degree in perinatal psychology from URV (Rovira i Virgili University).

Speaking English and French in addition to my native languages (Spanish and Catalan), I work with many expat couples.

I am a breastfeeding consultant and I am specialized in fertility processes and perinatal grief.
